Kurt Russell, the star of the new movie Grindhouse (pictured), has revealed how he was violently attacked when he went in for his first kiss. "I was in third grade, and ... I noticed this really hot chick hanging out under the bridge with her friend. She says, 'Hey, come here.' I think I'm going to get my first kiss. She lifts my shirt, then all of a sudden ... pulls out a penknife, and drags it about 6 inches across my stomach. It starts to bleed, and they haul ass."

Drew Barrymore was 11 years old when she kissed her school friend Breckin Meyer, now an actor and director. "We played this card game with three rounds: round one was kisses with closed lips, round two was open mouth and round three was open mouth with tongues. It was so funny," the actress said.

Gwen Stefani reportedly holds a grudge against he boy she shared a first kiss with, because he failed to keep in touch. "I was in the ninth grade, and I kissed this boy — Brad," Stefani said. "We kissed on the beach, and I remember thinking, 'Oh my God, this is so weird. I can feel his braces!' My family left the next day. I wrote to him three times but he never wrote back."

Alex Kapranos, the lead singer of Franz Ferdinand, has become an international rock star — but that's a far cry from his early days. "I was uncomfortable at school. I just wanted to be happy in who I was as a person and now I am, but I didn't kiss a girl until I was 18," Kapranos said.

Actress Charlize Theron told NY Rock of having her first kiss at the age of 13 after watching horror flick Friday the 13th. "What a real romance movie!" Theron said. "His name was Nicky. We were standing in the backyard and I'm like, you wanna do it, you wanna do it? Well, okay, then let's do it. And we're standing there arguing about it for so long, it was just awful. But then it was darkness, saliva and tongue."

Harry Potter's first kiss with fellow Hogwarts student Cho Chang took the two young actors about 30 takes to get right. "It would have been more nerve wracking if I was doing it with someone I didn't like," Daniel Radcliffe — who plays Harry Potter — said. "Once you have covered it from all the camera angles you've done about 30 takes."

Lindsay Lohan had a bad case of pre-liplock jitters before she shared her first on-screen kiss with actor Chad Michael Murray on the set of Freaky Friday. "I was nervous because it's kissing a guy that I don't know extremely well, who's a good looking 21-year-old guy — and it's in front of over 100 people on a movie set. You know what I mean?" said Lohan, who was 17 at the time of the shoot.

Acting out Spiderman's first kiss with MJ, played by Kirsten Dunst, was the toughest part of the movie for 31-year-old actor Tobey Maguire. "When we shot that scene where we kissed in the alleyway and I was hanging upside down ... it was raining and the whole time I had rainwater running up my nose," he explained. "Then, when Kirsten rolled back the wet mask, she cut off the air completely."

"I was about nine-years old-when I had my first kiss. It was with a schoolgirl chum, although I don't recall her name," Ewan McGregor told the Evening Times. But the Star Wars star does remember the name of his first gay kiss, which was part of his role in the 1998 movie Velvet Goldmine. "I shared a smooch with Jonathan Rhys Meyers ... afterwards he moaned about me having given him a terrible stubble rash."

Actor John Stamos has fond memories of his first kiss. "My first one that really rocked me was high school. I remember kissing Kim Anderson, this cheerleader. It was just that great feeling, your heart gets all fluttery. I felt like I was spinning," he said.
