lol....personal, i can not agree with some of ur opinions
eg:
"             Prejudice..esp for Chinese ppl......Chinese ppl do not have a good reputation or impression overseas"
well...in fact, if we can respect ourself, respect our behaviors, we dunt receive prejudice from Caucasians. however, prejudice happended between oversea Chinese community...ppl we dislike from 2 special cityies in China(i dunt wanna mention it, but it is considered widely in AU).they are so baleful n they think they are much superiorer, they look down upon other Chinese, scheming how to earn money from oversea students, how to gain extra advantage unfairly, they all make us sick....

"Shanghainese..we are deemed to be arrogant, unfriendly, selfish ppl"....loooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllll:o

"i abuse my own money..wehahaha"....high salary, i can even gain retirement pension when i was 18.never wori abt unfair workforce..we have AU law to protect us............can not image 4yuan per hr in Chinese Mc'donald's compared with $17(RMB102yuan) per hr, however, one meal here only cost u $7(7 out of 17) VS (20RMB out of 4 RMB)

Prejudice..esp for Chinese ppl......Chinese ppl do not have a good reputation or impression overseas.......just like Chinese ppl have a prejudice against Shanghainese..we are deemed to be arrogant, unfriendly, selfish ppl, but in fact it's not true cuz the majority of Shanghainese is not like that.......

me not agree... except u speak chinese all the time in an english speaking country.:L

rex1024 5-10-2007 13:57

why

why do you say that?what's your reason?

Amandine 5-11-2007 17:20

well. if you have a job in AU...it would be much better cuz at the same time you receive the wages that is denominated in AU dollar............and can you understand my words? did i say i was worry abt the unfair workforce? i dont even have a job in AU.....

"they look down upon other Chinese, scheming how to earn money from oversea students, how to gain extra advantage unfairly, they all make us sick...."

it's definitely right...but there's no relationship between what i posted above............    prejudice....."prejudice" does NOT equal to "discrimination" and also does NOT equal to "Taking advantages of sb".......

Prejudice means ppl judge person before proper inquiry has been held OR ppl judge a person based on his or her view about another person which he thinks they belong to the same group.............

Excessive optimism.

So many constructive actions to take in such little time frame.
